North Jersey Arts Collective was proud to present our 3rd public art show titled- "There's No Leaving Newton: Folklore." Artists exhibited work that explored the mysterious and fantastic lore of local legends to the superstitions and personal narratives of self-mythology. This show exhibited work from local artists in a variety of mediums such as photography, painting, and sculpture. Huge thank you to all who came out to support the local creative community!

North Jersey Arts Collective presents a new series of intimate live music performances every month in unique and secret spaces here in North Jersey. Our events will feature several local performers showcasing their talent and creativity in a variety of forms. Visual art from local artists will also be on display and for sale. DREAM SEQUENCE
North Jersey Arts Collective was proud to present our second official public art show titled- "There's No Leaving Newton: Dream Sequence." Artists exhibited work that visualized the subconscious, evoked the surreal, and explored the dichotomy of dreams and nightmares. Like our previous show in November of 2023, this event was open to the public and displayed work from local artists in various mediums such as photography, sculpture and painting. We would like to extend an huge thank you to everyone who came out in support of local artists!

Graffiti Workshop
North Jersey Arts collective was proud to present our second class in our art class series- Graffiti Workshop! With over a decade of experience in the graffiti scene, one of our members taught the basics of graffiti lettering and assisted each participant with spray painting their very own graffiti canvas. Be on the look-out for more art classes in the near future!

Life Drawing
Art Class
North Jersey Arts Collective was excited to present our first art class! "Life Drawing" was a single session class introduced by one of our members here in Newton. The class focused on drawing from observation and understanding some of the basic principles involved in drawing from life including value, form and gesture. Participants practiced drawing in still life as well as figure drawing alongside other artists of varying skill levels. Experienced artists as well as beginners were invited to hangout, sketch and meet other local artists. Be on the look-out for more art classes in the near future!

Drawing club
North Jersey Arts Collective was excited to introduce "Drawing Club," an evening of drawing, sketching and doodling with fellow artists and friends. This was a casual event with no objective other than to relax, draw, and be creative in a group environment. Participants enjoyed sharing their drawings and exchanging creative feedback with one another throughout the evening.
Drawing club took place at a private location in Newton NJ and was free to attend. Be on the lookout for similar events in the future!
